When Mrs. Wicklund contacted Sunrise Landscape Services, her goal was to elevate the curb appeal and front entry experience of her home. She envisioned a warm, welcoming approach that blended timeless beauty with subtle luxury. With a carefully planned combination of in-grade lighting, custom hardscaping, and a pondless water feature, we delivered a front and back yard that now turns heads—and soothes the senses.

Behind the Scenes:

This project was completed in 15 days, from initial design to the final placement of flowers and lighting. Mrs. Wicklund was involved throughout the process, thoughtfully selecting the paver style to match the architecture and natural tone of her home. Our team worked efficiently to overcome minor site grading challenges and to ensure seamless integration of lighting and irrigation adjustments.

Front & Backyard Transformation Highlights:

• Paver Walkway with In-Grade Lighting:
  We designed and installed a custom paver walkway that winds gracefully from the driveway to the front door. Integrated low-voltage in-grade lighting illuminates the path at night, providing both safety and elegance. These lights are wired to a timer and transformer system for effortless control and energy efficiency.
• Pondless Water Feature with Integrated Lighting:
  Located in the backyard, we constructed a pondless water feature designed to complement the native surroundings. Special care was taken to select natural stone and placement techniques that made the feature feel like an organic part of the existing landscape. Integrated lighting enhances the tranquil movement of water and allows for nighttime enjoyment.
• Flower Bed Installation:
  Surrounding the backyard water feature, we built a new flower bed using a mix of drought-tolerant perennials and ornamental grasses. While no weed barrier was used, the soil was amended for longevity and health. We also made irrigation adjustments, including the installation of new spray heads to ensure efficient watering for the newly planted area.
